Moose are giant animals and can be very illusive when they want to be. L. Bridge hired Double C Guides when he drew his Wasatch Mountains moose permit as he understood how much work would be required to find, harvest, and pack out one of these behemoths. Many moose had been found in pre-season scouting, but they all went into hiding before opening day. Hunting was difficult for 4 days with few moose being spotted. On day 5 things changed and the moose seemed to be everywhere and this 40 inch bull was taken.
