This trip is designed for those backpackers and Highpoining groups that want to claim the full 32 mile round trip hike, but can’t carry the weight anymore, or for those who want the same experience but with a little less “Ruffin-It” atmosphere. Leave everything to us, we’ll do all of the work, pack in all of your gear and cook all of the meals. You will enjoy all of the comforts of a professional camp, amazing food, tents, with the ability to pack in a little extra personal gear.
Our Kings Peak trips are a 4 day Trek. We'll meet you at the Swift Creek/Yellowstone Trailhead the morning of day 1. Hike 11.5 miles to Camp A. After breakfast on Day 2 we'll hike 4.5 miles to our base camp. (Camp B) This puts you only 3.5 miles from the Peak. You can summit this day, or wait until the morning of Day 3. We would recommend an early start on a day 3 summit, because you will need to be back to the base camp (Camp B) no later than 2:00 pm. We will then pull camp and move back down to the Camp A location for the night. Then do the 11.5 mile hike back down to the trailhead on day 4.
